“A Strand of Hope” by Amanda Tero *new release!*

Hi everyone! I’m sorry it’s been so long since my last blog post and book review, but here I am!

Today is an exciting day for another sweet author, Amanda Tero! Today she’s publishing her newest novel, and the first of the “Packhorse Librarians” series.

I had the privilege of being able to be a part of her amazing launch team, as well as advance reading of her book!

“A Strand of Hope” is the first book of the “Packhorse Librarians” series, and was written by Amanda Tero.

Lena Davis lives for her stories. If she has a book, she can hide away from the harsh realities of her own life, and escape to a storybook world. Living with her alcoholic mother in Depression-Era Kentucky, follow Lena on her path as she learns to love, forgive, and trust in God as she rides the highland trails as a horseback librarian.

When Lena Davis hears of a local job opportunity opening to work as a horseback librarian, she cannot believe the opportunity that has been given her. Ever since the town library opened, she has found refuge in the books it has shared. Cast off by almost all her family, as well as most of the town, she lives only with her cruel mother who relies on her locally supplied moonshine to get her through the days.

In the job, she sees an opportunity to finally prove to her mother her worth. Though young, she quickly finds her path with the help of an elderly man from the mountains, named Homer.

When darkness begins to creep in and overwhelm her, will Lena be able to learn to trust in the One who can give her the strength to make it through her every trial?

Join Amanda Tero, and the other four authors on this amazing series! On top of that, Amanda is hosting an art contest this week, as well as multiple giveaways and sales! For more info check out her website http://astrandofhope.com/

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
